Foodie Saint Louis is proud to partner with FoodOutreach as our charitable partner. FoodOutreach is a volunteer-based organization in the metro St. Louis region focused on providing nutritious meals and nutrition counseling to men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS or Cancer. In 2009, they provided close to 400,000 meals to 1,600 clients.
As you know, Foodie has always been a strong supporter of the local economy and community efforts. We know that Food Outreach is the perfect partner to assist in allowing us to achieve our philanthropic goals in 2011.

Their mission: To provide nutritional support and enhance the quality of life of men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS and cancer.
Did you know FoodOutreach:
· Provides more than 420,000 meals annually?
· Serves 1,600+ clients within a 200-mile radius from its midtown location?
· Administers several programs including: an integrated frozen prepared meals and grocery program, nutritional counseling, cooking and nutrition education classes, and meal home delivery?
· Partners with two agencies in Illinois to make sure all clients have access to a consistent supply of healthy meals?
· Hosts a three-course congregate lunch each Monday for clients?
· Spends $650,000 annually on food and nutritional supplements?
· Has 600+ volunteers (some are clients) who log 25,000 hours each year?
· Serves clients ranging in age from 5 years old to 90+?
· Was one of only 22 agencies, nationwide, to receive the Victory Against Hunger Award, coordinated through the Congressional Hunger Center?
· Serves food that makes medicines work like they should and helps clients take them as prescribed so they get the full benefit?
